PixeLink PL-B681CF-KIT 1.3 MP FireWire Microscope Camera (PL-B681CF-KIT)

The PL-B681CF-KIT is a 1.3 megapixel color camera suitable for bright-field microscopy. The PL-B681CF-KIT uses a standard FireWire interface for plug-and-play operation with the host computer. Factory calibrated Digital Pixel Correction and on-board Flat Field Correction (FFC) provides image quality comparable to high-end CCD cameras.



The PL-B681CF-KIT is a high performance microscopy camera designed to capture highly detailed, publication quality images. The camera features a 1.3 megapixel sensor and can provide 27 frames per second at full resolution, or 107 frames per second at VGA resolution. The PL-B681CF-KIT is both TWAIN and IIDC 1.31 (DCAM) compatible.



Coupled with PixeLINK Capture SE software, the PL-A686CF-KIT becomes a highly productive image capture tool for bright-field microscopy. Features that compliment the functionality of the camera such as annotation and measurement tools, image enhancement controls, and a database to manage and archive captured images are all standard in Capture SE.

Capture and save AVI movies, set user-defined Region of Interests (ROI), and save descriptors to either the host system or the camera itself is made simple.
